Cowles Mountain is a three-mile challenging trek that is one of the most renowned hikes in Southern California. It offers fantastic sweeping views of San Diego County from its highest point at 1,593 feet elevation.
Go on a Stroll at the Moonlight State Beach
People in the early 1900s picnicked beneath the stars on this beach, which earned the iconic moniker. Moonlight State Beach is a favorite beach destination for residents and visitors in North County, San Diego. A picnic area, tennis courts, volleyball courts, rental equipment, a snack bar, bathrooms, and other amenities are all available at the location. Because of its gentle slope and calm water conditions, this beach also is excellent for beginner surfers.
